Student Athlete Shout Out to 8th grader Josh Johnson! Josh has been competing in the Elks Hoop Competition. He took first place in his age group in December, and moved on to district competition in January, today February 2nd he took 1st place in the state for his age group & now moves on to the New England regionals in March. On top of taking home first place, he also took home a trophy for the most points in all on Sunday & also for the most points in the last 3 competitions. He shot 22 for 25 yesterday.

Attention Milton School District families. Tuesday, January 28th, is an early release day for our students. Nute Middle High School will dismiss at 11:15 AM, and Milton Elementary School at 12:10 PM.

On Wednesday, January 22nd, Mrs. Pratt and some of the students from STEM presented their Sea Perch projects to the school board. The 8th-grade STEM class traveled to UNH on Thursday to run their Sea Perch Projects in the Chase Oceanic Engineering Lab pool. The SeaPerch Project was done in cooperation with UNH and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. They had a blast taking their Sea Perches underwater while other students watched through a porthole on the side of the tank. We got a tour of the lab and ate lunch at the dining hall before coming back to school.
