Dear Seniors and Families,

As we begin senior year, we want to make sure our students and families have the information and resources they need to start the year off strong and prepare for the next steps after graduation.

On Thursday, October 8, from 6:00–7:00 PM, Granite Edvance will host a virtual presentation designed specifically for seniors and their families. This is a great opportunity to learn about important information, resources, and steps to take throughout senior year.

Please see the attached flyer for additional details. You can register for the virtual event using the link below or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

Register for the Granite Edvance Presentation

For students and families who would prefer to watch together, We will also have a space available here at Nute to view the presentation as a group.

We encourage all seniors and their families to take advantage of this opportunity!

Dear Milton,

The Milton school district needs your help (and we want to help you in return). During our recent review of the school district finances, we found that families owed a total of over $100,000 to food services. We also learned that the district lost over $600,000 in federal funding due to a drop in successfully completed free and reduced lunch forms. The good news is that we can help each other.

Applying is easy, it is confidential, and filling out the forms may help you pay off lunch balances. When families qualify for free or reduced lunch, the district receives more aid to support student learning (and this aid lowers taxes). If you have not already filled out the forms, I have linked them below to make things easy. Here are the links:

The free and reduced lunch application (the most important form) is located here: application

The free and reduced lunch process to apply is located here: process

The public notice is located here: public notice

This process is free and may help your families finances by reducing debt on lunch accounts at school and will likely raise more money for our district. Please remember: this process is completely confidential.

If you have any questions please feel free to email anyone you feel comfortable talking to on this list:

Dear SAU 64 Families,

We wanted to share a reminder about our Free & Reduced Meal Program application for the 2026–2027 school year.

Paper applications were sent home with students yesterday. We are also providing the information and application electronically for families who may find that option more convenient.

If your family may qualify, we encourage you to complete an application. The information provided is confidential and helps ensure that eligible students receive the meal benefits available to them. It also helps our schools access important funding and resources that support our students.

📄 Electronic Application: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1X7neydGBc6nEohsd9yCTVmA0qZGUJSRG?usp=drive_link

If you received a paper application, you may complete and return it to the school as directed on the form. If you have questions or need assistance completing the application, please contact the school office.

Thank you for taking the time to review this information and for helping us make sure our students have access to the resources they need!

Thank you

Hello Families,

I hope everyone is ready to have a wonderful start to the school year!

Please use the attached link to view the 2026–2027 SAU 64 bus routes and scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. We encourage families to review the information carefully and make sure students know their assigned bus and approximate pick-up time.

Please keep in mind that bus times are estimates and may vary slightly during the first few days of school as drivers become familiar with their routes.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding transportation, please feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we get the new school year underway!

Warmly,
Lindsay Tompson
