Welcome back! We are so excited to kick off a new school year and can’t wait to see everyone on the first day of school, Monday, August, 31! Whether you are returning to Nute or joining us for the first time, we are looking forward to an amazing year together.
We know that starting a new school year can be exciting—and sometimes a little overwhelming. We want all of our students and families to feel prepared and know what to expect when they arrive.
📅 Open House – Thursday, August 27 | 5:30–6:30 PM
Come meet your teachers, tour the building, find your classrooms, and get ready for a successful school year! We encourage all students and families to attend.
🏫 First Day Information
Student drop-off begins at 7:00 AM at the front entrance.
For students who are new to Nute, don't worry if you don't know exactly where to go! Staff members will be available to greet students and help direct them to the appropriate area, wing, and classroom.
Students will also have support throughout the first day as they become familiar with the building, their classrooms, schedules, and daily routines.
If you aren't sure where you are supposed to be, simply ask a staff member—we are happy to help!

📵 Cell Phone Reminder
As a reminder, New Hampshire law prohibits students from using cell phones during the school day.
Please keep phones put away and follow school expectations so that everyone can stay focused, engaged, and ready to learn.
⏰ Being On Time Matters!
Students must be in their classroom and ready to learn by 7:15 AM sharp.
If you arrive after 7:15 AM, you must check in at the front office to receive a tardy/admit slip.
If a teacher or staff member delays you, they will provide you with a late pass for your next class.
Tardy Consequences Per Quarter
1st–3rd tardy: Warning
4th–5th tardy: 30-minute detention
6th–7th tardy: 1-hour detention
8+ tardies: Saturday detention
⚠️ Missed detentions will result in further disciplinary action.
📅 Attendance Reminders
Being present matters!
Absences are considered excused only when appropriate documentation is provided within 3 school days of the student's return.
Excused reasons include:
Medical or dental appointments, or a doctor's note
Court appearances
Religious observances with prior notice
Death in the immediate family
Unexcused absences include skipping class, vacations, or failing to provide documentation.
🧭 Guidance & Scheduling
This year, Ms. Currier is our one guidance counselor, and she will be working hard to support all of our students.
She will help with scheduling, academic planning, and other student needs. Because she is supporting the entire school, we ask everyone to please be patient and understanding as she works to meet with students and take care of scheduling needs.
To see your schedule, log into Alma. If you are a 6th grade student check your email for your alma login. If you can not access alma please email Carrie.Rioux@nhsau64.gov.

If you or your family are struggling to get the supplies you need for school, please reach out to Coreen Toussaint. We want to make sure every student has what they need to start the year successfully.

This Saturday at 4:00 PM, the Rams will travel to Colebrook Academy to take on the Blackhawks with a trip to the semifinals on the line. The Rams are coming off an impressive first-round victory over Lisbon, and there's plenty of reason for confidence—Lisbon defeated Colebrook 17-7 during the regular season.
Now it's time for Ram Nation to show up and show out! Pack the stands, make some noise, and help cheer our boys on as they battle for a spot in the next round. Make the trip to Colebrook and let's turn the Blackhawks' home field into Ram Country!

Jack is especially talented in art, where his creativity and innovation truly shine. He collaborates well with others and stays engaged in his learning.
He is known for being very kind and thoughtful, making him a valued member of our school community.
Senior Brody Leeman has been selected as a finalist in the NH Sportspage Player of the Week contest. This is a huge deal for a division IV player. Voting closes 7 am tomorrow. Brody is very deserving, please vote and share.
