🌟 Staff Shout-Out 🌟
We are proud to recognize Ms. Lewis, who was one of only five teachers selected from New Hampshire and Maine to participate in the Student Civil Scientist Program!
Through this unique opportunity, our students will engage in real-world science by collecting and analyzing levels of arsenic in the groundwater of private wells within our community. Homeowners will receive free groundwater testing, while our students gain valuable hands-on experience in Chemistry, Earth/Environmental Science, and possibly Forensic Science.
Water samples collected will be sent to the state for testing, then returned for our students to analyze, interpret, and present their findings—both to our community and at the state capitals.
This program, supported by the NH Department of Environmental Services, MDI Biological Lab, and Dartmouth, equips students to make meaningful contributions to public health while also developing their skills as scientists and communicators.

Tenth grade students were invited to hear stories from a Veteran and from the founder of the NH organization, Homeland Heroes. Students have been working on a Veteran Interview assignment and the Voice of Democracy Essay, the guest speakers are connected to that work.

Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT and meet other program entry requirements specified in the PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide will enter the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships conducted by National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).

Staff Spotlight: Meet Our School Nurse, Coreen Toussaint!
This week, we're proud to shine the spotlight on one of the most essential members of our school community — Nurse Coreen Toussaint!
Nurse Coreen is not only the caregiver in our building but also a trusted advocate for student health and wellness. Whether it’s a scraped knee, a sore throat, or just a comforting presence, she is always there with compassion, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring smile.
Her days are filled with much more than Band-Aids and ice packs. She monitors health plans, administers medications, communicates with families, supports students with chronic conditions, and works closely with staff to ensure our school stays a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Nurse Coreen plays a vital role in helping our students stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn — and we are incredibly lucky to have her!
