We want to give a big shout-out to Halia Hahorn for showing incredible respect, empathy, ethical behavior, and self-advocacy in class! 🌟
Halia went out of her way to invite a new student to join her group, making sure they felt welcomed and included. Her actions showed true leadership and kindness — setting a positive example for everyone in the classroom. 💪💬
Way to go, Halia! Keep being awesome! 🙌👏

Be sure to catch all the upcoming events on out website and weekly newsletters.

A huge shout-out to Olivia Connick for going above and beyond in Earth Science! Olivia took the initiative to create a fantastic poster all on her own time, highlighting our Recycling Bins project. Her work truly demonstrated innovation, collaboration, and engagement.

Tomorrow, September 23rd, 2025 we will have an early release day. Additionally, there will be no CTE transportation tomorrow due to the schedule change.
Please see the attached bell schedule.

A big thank you to Leah Gattinella for stepping up and setting the standard while we had a sub in class! 💪📚 Leah was completely on task, incredibly helpful with classroom procedures, and truly exemplified the expectations we hold — respect, empathy, ethical behavior, and engagement.
You're a role model, Leah — thank you for leading by example! 🙌
— Mr. E & Mrs. MacLeod

Big shout-out to Carlee Lapanne and Brady Angell for showing respect and empathy by cleaning up their friends' lunch trays without being asked. Your kindness and willingness to help others doesn't go unnoticed — thank you for being awesome role models in our school community! 🙌🍽️👏
Keep it up!

This week, we're proud to shine the spotlight on one of the most essential members of our school community — Nurse Coreen Toussaint!
Nurse Coreen is not only the caregiver in our building but also a trusted advocate for student health and wellness. Whether it’s a scraped knee, a sore throat, or just a comforting presence, she is always there with compassion, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring smile.
Her days are filled with much more than Band-Aids and ice packs. She monitors health plans, administers medications, communicates with families, supports students with chronic conditions, and works closely with staff to ensure our school stays a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Nurse Coreen plays a vital role in helping our students stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn — and we are incredibly lucky to have her!
(Mrs Toussaint would like to remind
you that we need your Health Form in by Friday)
If you see Nurse Toussaint, be sure to thank her for all she does to care for our students each and every day.

MES/Nute Beginning Band
While our students are learning new instruments, we will have them come in on a rotation. Please see the attached flyer for which 2 days your student will attend. Nute students will go to SSR on the days they are not going to Beginning Band
Thank you

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on the friendly and welcoming faces of our front office — Shannon Cassidy and Carrie Rioux!
Whether you're calling the school, stopping by the office, or sending an email, chances are Shannon and Carrie are the first people you'll connect with. They are the heart of our school's daily operations, and we’re so grateful for all they do.
From answering phones and greeting visitors to managing attendance and supporting students, families, and staff, our front office team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. They coordinate messages, organize paperwork, assist with scheduling, and make sure the school day flows as seamlessly as possible.

Your voice matters, and you used it in such a mature and impactful way — well done, Eric! 💬🌟

No shortcuts. No quick fixes. At Nute, rebuilding the program has meant digging deep and playing the long game, and this fall, the payoff might finally start to show. Head coach Karen Pearson returns nearly her entire roster from last season, including three seniors and a core of sophomores who were thrown into the fire early and have come out tougher, smarter, and more determined.
“We had a very young, inexperienced team last year with no seniors,” head coach Karen Pearson said. “But they’ve been working hard this summer and have improved a lot. I’m happy with their progress.”
That progress is showing up across the board. Three returning sophomores—Kayling Marique (MB), Bella Colby (L), and Siena Picard (MB)—each saw significant time as freshmen and are now stepping in with much-needed composure and court vision. Juniors Hannah Cartier (OH), Amelia Currier (OH), Bella Cisneros (RS/S), and Kalleigh Pallone (S) round out a lineup that has a better sense of how to compete in Division III.
A trio of seniors will lead the Rams: Jules Luca, a steady passer and strong server; Sophia Blair, shifting from right side to middle; and Keyara Eason, moving from DS to right side. All three have grown into key leadership roles and are embracing new challenges with grit.
The scoreboard may not always reflect it, but Pearson believes the real story is in their attitude: "People don't always see the dedication and hard work these girls have been putting in. They support each other. They enjoy the game. They’re learning every day.”
If growth is the goal, Nute’s already winning.
